Troubles reading code from dsPIC30F4011 (ndemarco)

I'm using a genuine PICkit3 and MPLab X 6 to read a dsPIC30F4011. The reading process completes normally per the IDE, but the program memory OPCODEs are all 0xFFFFFF. I watched the PGD and PGC lines during reading, and see wiggles, but that's about as far..
